Evolution Dance Company

Evolution Dance Company opened its doors for business in June of 2013. Owner Cristi Tan had a career shift and teaching dance was a passion of hers that she wanted to keep in her life. The people closest to Cristi encouraged her to start her own studio. Being young, right out of college, Cristi had no idea where to start. It was those who encouraged her that helped find a location, establish a business name and continued pouring belief into the vision. Within a month Evolution Dance Company was born and dancers started showing up! The studio grew from a small studio that could only fit eight dancers to two studios housing over a hundred dancers. Owner Cristi Tan is grateful for the people in her life who encouraged her and believed in her. Without them she would not have had the boldness to take a leap of faith and just go for it. Being bold, ambitious and believing in yourself are the values that built EDC and Cristi continues to pour these values into her students and staff. We want people to not only dance at EDC but be inspired to pursue any dream our dancers and staff have and have the courage to just go for it!
